In this episode, we’re speaking with Laura Cascardi. Laura’s passion for herbalism, healing, and well-being is evident in her 20 + years of working with herbs and people. In 2014, Laura co-founded the Equinox Center of Herbal Studies where she is the director and one of the primary teachers.
You can hear Laura’s passion for educating others on using plants for wellness and self-reliance in her voice, as she shares her plant path story. Laura talks about how she originally learned the wild, medicinal herbs from her grandmother and shares lessons carried from her time living off-grid + the medicine she brought back into “city life.” You’ll hear Laura’s powerful message for aspiring healers and how to leave behind mechanisms of control and become our authentic selves. We talk about how our connection to our environment and local medicines promotes self empowerment, and how to harness this power. Laura shares amazing advice for people on the plant and healing path.
